Cutter Forestry Services provides chainsaw training and assessments for Emergency Services, City Councils, members of the general public and the Forestry Industry.
We also provide training and assessment in Forestry Machines, Equipment and Log Trucks.
Cutter Forestry Services provides training and/or assessment in:
- FWPCOT2239 Trim and cut felled trees (R2)
- FWPCOT2236 Fall trees manually (basic) (R1)
- FWPFGM3212 Fall trees manually (intermediate) (R1)
- FWPFGM3213 Fall trees manually (advanced) (R1)
- Assessments of other selected units from the FWP Forest and Wood Products Training Package (R3)
- Recognition of Prior Knowledge.
Training is available to individuals and groups.
Cutter Forestry Services is a partner member of the National Workplace Services Group Pty Ltd (NWSG). NWSG is an Australian proprietary company run by a Board of Directors.
Adrian Lucas is a Director and part owner of NWSG and is the head trainer and assessor of Cutter Forestry Services, with 18 years experience with TAFE and a further extensive industry based background.
Cutter Forestry Services is based in Ballarat and delivers training and/or assessment throughout most of Victoria. We train throughout the year and suitable times and venues can be negotiated with clients.
